Well, I was searching around online for ways to get a grant to go to school (because I'm so poor I can't even pay for one lousy book), and I came across this website for a program if you get your AA degree you can go live in Japan and teach English. o_o; I think it'd be really cool, but I don't know if I'd wanna just dive right into Japan for a ( Read more... )

ahh yeah ive seen those types of programs advertised~ i would love to go to japan and teach but it'll have to wait till i get my degree and do a few years here teaching before i go over there XD

Yeah, I saw the PV. It was adorable.. though I'm not too sure whether I really like the song or not.

Those programs sounds great just don't rush your way with them. I think its a good ide that you want to visit before you come and stay longer. I have a friend who came fr a whole year and ended up hateing japan since she got on the plane with the idea that japan was a bit like disney, fun 24/7

Like Disney? LOL. Wow. I don't have that idea.. but I do know that for some reason a lot of people think Japan as a whole is just this awesomely kick ass country with fun stuff to do everywhere. I think Japan must be like every other country.. with it's ups and downs. Stuff to do, but ultimately boring at other times.

Yep, its just weird they think everythign will be better here. It might look different but still as good and bad as other cities

I paid my first year in college entirely out of my financial aid. It was super expensive but I manage. Its really expensive to go to college thats I'm getting my AA in nursing, saving money and than getting my BSN when save enough

Good luck! I haven't even tried, I don't think I will learn japanese ever
