I don't believe finding her would have worked anyway at that point, Rex. You had chosen Iago and most women don't recover from that manner of rejection. [He never found out about that whole "I want to be with one person now and the other later" thing.]
But you shouldn't be healing for one person, anyway. Nowhere within the Hippocratic oath is the words, "because I cared for her".

I never took the Hippocratic Oath. And considering everyone else in her world is a crazed cannibal, likely with a degenerative condition in the brain, a true cure would've been impossible. The idea was to protect them, not save the world for one woman.
