[Rex holds up some nerdy diagrams of the mechanical dragon he had in port, modified for, uh, compatibility with real physics and stuff. Or real for GI Joe's world of sinking ice ( Read more... )

The mechanical dragonlings engineers craft in Azeroth are bigger than that, but they're built for combat.

[Innnnnteresting. He loves himself some impractical-but-flashy weapons.] How large are they?

[Have some return diagrams, though they're not especially detailed, more like sketches, and some parts of them are a little fudged. It's about the size of a medium-large dog.] Something like that, though I've never tried to build one. ...They do flap, though.

[He looks them over.] Given the size, the frame must be extremely lightweight. Is it hollow? Or... is something like 'magic' involved?

[WHY SO CAUTIOUS, BRO?]

Ana came back. [If you don't know his sister's name, HE WILL CUT YOU.]

[Good news that is actually good news! And not...good news for one person and bad news for another...which was what he expected. And so he's mostly happy.]

Really?

Where is she? I haven't seen anything.

Laying low. She's staying off the grid for a while.

Perhaps it could be slain by toy soldiers.

It would certainly present them with a challenge.

Only as much of a challenge as a man against an actual dragon.

Then the next order of business is to build a few mechanical toy soldiers.

It would be a wonderful toy. They are quite possible where I'm from, though if I were to give you plans they would need to be de-weaponized.

Of course. If I was going to engineer a weapon, it certainly wouldn't be in the form of a toy dragon.

They're entirely within the realm of possibility for working here, though! And really, it's no different from weaponizing a humanoid robot.

Certainly. I just prefer my weapons to have a certain... aesthetic.

Kidnapper?

If I was going to create a device to hurt people with, it wouldn't be something so whimsical.

Muppet... goblin?

It's appreciated, if nothing else.
