i think it's true that when you like someone, you listen to the shittiest songs in the world, the ones that make you feel all saccharine inside. i'm so the smitten kitten. maybe.

I NEED TO SEE MEAN GIRLS YESSSSSSS.

"TELL ME YOUR NAME, TELL ME YOUR STORY, COS I'M INTO IT."

My name is Elizabeth. I'm 17. I've lived in the US almost half my life. The other half I lived in Chile. I'm feel really conflicted about being Korean. Have you ever watched the Believer? I haven't, either, but it's about a Jewish boy who becomes a racist skinhead. I'm kinda like that. I really don't like being Korean. But at the same time, I really wish I could accept it. I just don't know how. And I wish I was Latina. But I'm not. And I hate that.

when i first read this, i was thinking to myself "uh?" but after about ten minutes i got it. haha.

and i wish i was latina too, i hear you on that. everything about their culture is so much more beautiful, and they're so full of life, and to describe them as gorgeous would be a huge understatement.

i'm molly. i'm sixteen; i will be seventeen this year but my birthday is late in the year so it doesn't matter. when i was really young i lived in seattle. then we moved to vancouver; we lived upstairs and another family lived downstairs. i thought the family lived in a laundromat because the only time we went downstairs was to do laundry. i've only met my grandfather three times. i now live in a small town called squamish.

your life is far more interesting than anything i could tell you about mine. i didn't know you lived in seattle! lucky. i've done the two-family living too, our garage was broken because the woman who lived upstairs backed out while the door was still shut. and squamish sounds like such a sad name for a town. :\

i only lived in seattle until i was two; we lived there is student housing because my dad was doing his masters (in maths, i think) and we were poor student family.

squamish is a native american word that means "mother of the wind" (i think...). it's named after the squamish people; stuff like that (seeing reserves, natives with bad homes lives) always makes me feel like a big bad white person.
