Long time no 'see'.

Hope you are all doing well.

Thought I would post as I have a question for tallblue, I was cleaning my fish tank tonight and there were lots of little eggs all round the filter - how come this is the first time I have seen these?  The fish were very frisky last night - could I get babies from these eggs?  If so what do I do to make it

Hi there, you know the same thing happened to me tonight, yes those are eggs and if you put them in a bowl with an airstone you will get babies.

When they hatch you can boil an egg and take out the yolk take a pinch of the egg yolk and mix it with some aquarium water and feed them a few drops a few times a day for about a week, then they should be ready for finely crushed fish flake.

Congratulations! It is spring and this is the mating season!

Oh I don't have an airstone at the moment - I put the eggs in a little plastic tank with a few plants - Hmm what to do what to do - is it too late - they have been in there with no air being pumped for 2 days.

I have a blue light air thingy in with the fish which I don't turn on - they still have the leaning tower of pisa - should I move it into the tiny tank - Im guessing it too strong - off to see what I can manage!
