June 20, 2007 was a typical summer afternoon despite a large fight which broke out around 4:30 pm at Elizabeth and Nichols Sts. After dinner, the kids all came out to play and soon my end of the block had over 30 children socializing and playing, with nearly a dozen adults out and about relaxing and enjoying the warm weather. Thanks Erica! Was very scary encounter but it brought all of us on our end of the block really close, we all look out for each other now, like a neighborhood watch but not a formal thing, just friends taking care of each other!! Glad u liked the photos!!

Yes, I love having neighbors like that.. and theres no reason not too, even if you live on a stupid uppity street like me.. we still all stick together, have parties together, talk daily, etc.. it feels nice to know theres someone to go to incase something goes wrong or theres a problem.

Have you ever read "Rome Haul" ...my friend Dukes from booneville sent it to me, the book is about a 100 years old and the pages are CRUMBLING but its about the Eerie Canal and it's a pretty good book. If you want I'd like to send you my only copy to read.. It's an original copy, it's got sections about Utica and everywhere near the eerie canal, it's kind of a must read for Uticans and I've already read it so I'd like to pass it on.

yeah and ironically, the kid in the black tee is the nephew of my TOP salad opener Brandy!! She said he got major charges over this and is facing State Time! she is glad because nephew annoys her to no end *lol*

Since this incident and the subsequent eviction, we have had no problems, sometimes the legal system works in favor of decent people!!

Glad you liked the photos. Just so you know, the cabdriver Jerry in the photos was robbed at gunpoint two nights ago. Things are really going to hell here...
