Seriously, what the hell? You'd think, with the Octava's true killers stepping forward, the Captain Commander would've been released by now. But they've all been gone for how long, now? A couple weeks? I can't help but wonder now if this has all been a trick and we're just going to lose them all. Stepping up might have been the noble thing to do, but it's really looking like it might have been a mistake after all.
It'd suck to lose anyone like this, the Captain Commander especially. Was only a couple years ago that we lost the last one; I don't even want to imagine the chaos it would cause if our current situation became permanent. I've already seen a lot of people freaking out, and it'd only get worse. Thankfully, I've managed to stay relatively calm so far, but I don't know how long that'll last. I have been drinking a bit more, lately, and that's never a good sign.
And damned if Mitsora no Sansai doesn't know it. She's been whispering promises in my head, complete with the usual swipes at my intelligence, to get me away from the bottle. Hasn't really worked so far; I know it's just for her own benefit if something serious goes down. If I'm drunk or hungover, she might miss out on it all. And she'd hate that. Sure as hell isn't for me that she's doing this.
I'm thinking of taking her up on the promise, though. A technique of hers that she hasn't taught me yet? I can't deny that I'm curious; she hasn't shown me a new technique in years. And really, if all hell breaks loose, it only makes sense to have more options at my disposal. Never know when you might need them.
Hopefully, learning it won't be too dangerous, but with Mitsora no Sansai, there's no guarantee either way.
