you should not be worried about this - this is an excellent and well-written start, engaging the reader and making him reach for more. There are a few grammatical errors easily corrected by a beta, but other than that - write on!

Thank you very much for your feedback! It is greatly appreciated. :) I ran the spell-checker on this before posting, but apparently, those errors are not so easily found. Hopefully, once I post this to a forum, I'll be able to find someone who can beta this story.

Again, thanks! And btw, I'm looking forward to the next chapter of "Tender". :)

Ohh, this was a great first fic, and I hope there will be more to the story. As the anniversary of Ten's death approaches I find myself missing him all over again, and the emotion in this *almost* brought tears! And your English is excellent!

Thank you very much for your review and your kind words! My original fic idea was rather different from this, but, being a latecomer to Doctor Who, after watching End of Time and crying my heart out, this idea ended up taking precedence over the first one. Hopefully, I'll be able to do it justice. :)

I like this very much!

The only line that bothered me at all was this: "Does it count as suicide if the hand that kills you is also yours?" ... because if the hand that kills you is yours, then that's suicide. But that's really minor.

Good work! =D

Thanks for your review! Actually, there is a very good reason for that sentence to be written like that, but, if I clarify it too soon then it will not come as a surprise :) *pauses* I wonder if I said too much already? ;)

Actually, I am going to re-edit that line, just to make sure there are no confusions. Don't want to give the idea Thirteen is offing himself when it's The Valeyard killing him. :) Thanks for pointing it out!

The 13th doctor is killed by the Valeyard, right?I wonder what Role River Song played in this, since she betrays the Doctor.

And the 13 th docror is ginger but the Valeyard has brown eyes which used to be warm. Ten II is the valeyard? I got this feeling but I could be wrong. In that case, it doesn't bode well for Rose's fate. Hence the reason why the Doctor had hoped that her death had been quick, contrary to his?
