what prompted you to start your own website and such now? I can understand the "more exposure" thing, definitely. I've gone back and forth about making a website for Magicademy, but I'm not sure for several reasons.

Hm.. I'm really looking for something less....fanboy-ish....

Part of the reason is that I'll probably have a lot more time to work on artwork, do commissions, sell prints, etc. when I decide to have children, so it seems like a good idea to become a little more noticed.

after 6 months of playing with ideas I finally came up with Sew Sarnia Creations but I did that by writing down a bunch of random bits of things that I liked and that where important to me

chinese spears. we've just been working forms so far, but we like them...pointy little things that they are.

neat. we've learned a bunch of forms with partners, but no sparring yet. because none of us have the armor and putting each others eyes out would be frowned upon by the college, i'm sure.

you should post pictures of you guys doing the spear forms, i want to see them.
