I grew up going there. I haven't been in a year and three months. That is a bit long for me. As my mom says, it's like a jewel box filled to the brim with beautiful treasures. The gardens, the decorations...everything is always freshly painted and shiny, the way one might wish the world to be except that reality gets in the way.
It's a bit crowded, it's expensive if you don't have a cousin to get you in free and get you a 40% discount on everything...but when I was growning up, we went almost twice a month. We could catch dinner and a show, or a parade, we could go swing dancing... every day is like a holiday there.
I don't know why it's special. But it is, and it always will be.
