This past weekend we went to an SCA event in Lamesa, TX. We almost didn't go...I ended up getting sick the day before going to Champions (that's the name of the event), and had killer abdominal pain following. LOL Someone commented to me in messenger that this didn't look like my normal writing style. That is because I write differently when I know other people are going to read it, and I originally wrote a lot of this in my diary, and then decided, ah, why not just post it on the blog? So I cleaned it up, changed a few names (Princess being one of them, that's my kiddo), added a few things, and voila! an entry. It really wasn't done with any point to make (except the bit about the dancing), only as a recollection of a fun weekend for me, so that's why it looks different and possibly/probably disjointed. But I thought I'd share with you guys anyway ( ... )
