How to use LJ to monitor a health condition -kyburgFebruary 9 2007, 22:49:22 UTC
1. Give it a consistent tag. And make it unique.
2. Really consider putting it private.
(You can then search your own journal for things by tag, print the results and give to doctor at next visit.)
The reason for #2? With the best of intentions, your friends are going to make suggestions. Seriously. Go look at what happens when I post anything about my weight or weight loss. None of that logging stuff has gone into a public post - because people go batshit nuts. Lose their tiny little minds. My experience, your mileage may vary and feel free to ignore me. But it happened to me, and I'll warn you because I likes ya.
