Icon Tutorial: James Wilson

My 1st tutorial in this community. :) It's nothing fancy, but roonilwazl1b seemed interested in how I achieved the colouring, and since I've tried to re-create it and think it turned out close (well, not 100%, but close enough. *g*) I thought I could make a tut. :)

Duplicate the Base; Screen: 28%, Hue/Saturation - Saturation: +31

Hue/Saturation Layer - Saturation: +40

Another Hue/Saturation Layer - Saturation: +16

Selective Color Layer:
REDS:
Cyan: -87
Yellow +87
Black: +8

YELLOWS:
Cyan: -16
Yellow: +54

GREEN:
Magenta: -87

CYAN:
Cyan: +84
Magenta: +29
Yellow: -42
Black: +6

NEUTRALS:
Yellow: -25

Another Selective Colors Layer:
REDS:
Yellow: -15

I also used a part of this texture by lovelamp to make it a bit less colorful. :D

Put some text on it and you're done. :)



I don't garantuee you it works for every picture, but just play with everything. :)
