Considering that the government still won't actually link the melamine to the illnesses and deaths....it could still be something else, that's contaminating other ingredients, which would just make things worse ( ... )

Science Diet has already recalled one type of their dry prescription food...

That'd be the M/D, which is for diabetic cats...
Which Hills claims is the only dry food to use wheat gluten at all.

But what worries me more is the dry food ... they're all going to have wheat gluten

There's a difference between the food containing gluten because wheat is an ingredient and containing gluten which has been extracted from wheat.

The problem here is that Menu Foods used gluten which was extracted from wheat in a Chinese plant and then contaminated. (perhaps the wheat was contaminated before the extraction process, but you get the point)
