Well, neither of these sketches are necessarily related to the movie. There'll be more AOSverse-relevant art to come, I promise, once I find my tablet and locate a scanner on campus. Sorry for the poor quality cell phone pic- I really didn't think the logistics through.

They are both so wonderful, but the first one particularly. I love the expressions on their faces, like they're in the middle of a conversation.

Thanks :). That thing in front of them is a half-assed railing, so maybe they're standing on a high balcony at the academy or spaceport watching young cadets mill about. Silently waxing nostalgic over the good old pre-admiralty days when they were the ones seeing action, not politicking and pushing (very important) papers. And you know how once Kirk gets an idea in his head shit hits the fan. Of course adventure! ensues... Poor secretly-excited-but-he'd-never-admit-it Spock.
