Did anyone else on here even watch the debate? I thought it was very telling that Lehrer had to encourage them to argue with each other. For the most part they were both just sound bites, although I still like Obama better

Man, I hear that. It's been a real struggle, trying to pick up enough information to make an informed decision, and not hear all the stuff that'll leave me completely enraged. (This of course means that I can never listen to or read a word of Sarah Palin, because to me it all sounds like "YOUR UTERUS IS MINE TO CONTROL, OM NOM NOM.")

We had the debate on during dinner, and I generally thought Obama did better, although I wish he had picked up the ball McCain so amazingly dropped on the Treasury secretary question. McCain wants Warren Buffett to be Treasury secretary? Sure! Why not! And while we're at it, I'd like Bill Gates to run my personal PC support, but that doesn't mean it's going to happen. *headdesk*
