Oh I've had similarly disturbing nightmares. When I was a kid I dreamt I was being eaten alive by spiders, and another time I dreamt there were witches plotting how to eat me...

I've had some pretty bad nightmares before too =/ the other day, i had a nightmare that my bird was on the other side of the staircase and he couldn't fly to me for some reason and he needed help so I coaxed him to come fly to me. Then he did and he started to walk on the floor, but somehow something on the banister cut his entire wing off to his body and I just held him in my hands while he was bleeding because I didn't know what to do. And then I bandaged him up, but it was...unsettling.

Oh God, last summer I saw a wounded bird on the street and he was just so pitiful, trying to hide but unable to fly or walk properly :*(

Indeed. It's not even that my sister's sadistic like that, but she did have her dog euthanised last month (bad behaviour, etc.) so possibly my subconscious was playing on that. Still, it's pretty horrible to make her into the bad guy like that.

The last dream I remember was doing laundry. Mundane, but not horrible like yours. :( Poor dream puppy.

Yeah, I often dream blah stuff or really nice things, but I occasionally have the shitty dreams like that. Once we had construction work being done in the neighbourhood and I dreamed I was in a dinosaur land or something hahaha.
