[poem] Feeding Despair

This one's only a few days old, but was two months in the making.

FEEDING DESPAIR
The longer I smile this bland, bloodless smile,
The more my eyes see the darkness beyond,
Enclosing a realm of sorrows within my breast.
I let it thrive, a welcome nightmare
Feeding the source of despair beneath my eyes.

The way you write makes me feel your loneliness and desperation not to be part of someone else's game and to be your person again but it hard and you feel like your sinking in quick sand, darkness polluting your soul and all you want is to see the light again... But it's hard. Don't forget your not alone, people love you and make sure you have someone to talk to that understands you.

Thanks, I'm not entirely always in said darkness, no worries. I'm just going through a rough spot lately in matters of the heart and it's hard to navigate my way through it.
