Well my Turkey day was alright. I had to work, so that put a damper on things, however, we had a Thanksgiving Pot Luck, so Troy and Christian got to join me. Well everyone, I had the baby. Christian Darrell Orr was born at 7:37 pm July 6th, 2005. He was 8 lbs 3.6 oz and 20 and 1/4 inches long. They had delivered him via C-section because I had been in labor since 1 am on the 6th and had only progressed to 5 cm by the tim 6 pm came around. Well, after I thought it wouldn't happen, it will now. I'm scheduled to go in for my induction in 2 and 1/2 hrs. We have everything pretty much ready to go. I can't wait. I'm so nervous!!! But I'm sure everything will go fine. I will write once I get back to the computer and let you all know how it went!!

I just got called back from OB, and I have an appt. at 3:30 with Dr. Quayle. Hopefully they will find out that he's no longer transverse (diagnol) and that I can go ahead with the induction. However if not, the dreaded C-section will probably happen. I'll keep you all posted!!!

Here it is, my due date, and of course, I knew he wasn't going to come early. I could hope that he would, but he isn't. I was in Labor and Delivery last night (due to uneven swollen legs). We were all set to set up an induction for tuesday night/wensday morning. But the midwife found that Christian isn't laying the way that he should be. ( Read more... )

I have decided that I am going to talk to the Dr. about being induced. I have been in so much pain today it hasn't been funny at all. My legs feel like they are going to pop out of my hip and that's just sitting down.
