Swimmin'
We went swimmin' with Linnea yesterday. She can't swim yet but was an absolutely speed demon going down the water slide. She'd scream (happily) on the way up the stairs, go, "Yayyay woo!" at the top, and held her arms out to the sides and scream and laugh on the way down. This week I've managed to- Not kill Mark for being an idiot
- aquire £900 towards paying off my overdraft
- applied for a new bank account and work out a back up plan if I'm denied
- work 3 hrs overtime (not paid overtime, just accruing lieu for the next time Mark's sick)

It's not a new hobby.
Just trying to occupy myself as I attempted to walk Linnea to sleep yesterday by taking photos of flowers in the fine gardens of T'down. She's only been awake for a couple of hours but was unusually tired and cranky, possibly why my plan nearly pretty much actually failed, as it took 1 1/2 hrs running and climbing at top speeds at the park, a ( Read more... ) -

Been to say hi to Sheila (it's a 10 yr anniversary fancy dress occasion at BCH and I was loaning out some bits). Bought red thread and some groceries, and an Easter hat for Linnea in town. Had lunch. I got to go to work today. Had lunch with Mark. Made brownies. Did some dishes and some laundry and some more dishes.
Mark's really not doing very well. Healing thoughts in his direction would be very welcome.

Probably setting myself up for disappointment
but I am SO DAMN EXCITED about next weekend! I'm not the only one either, Chris is already in my debt which is a good way to start :) Did I mention I finished my corset last weekend? What did I do Thursday?
Wednesday afternoon, at work, I got ill. Literally - I was fine. Then all of a sudden I felt hot and went - I know this feeling! I'm going to puke. Lovely. Left everything undone and grabbed the first taxi I could find. Got home and threw myself at the toilet ( Read more... ) -

Went to demo in London on Saturday. Twice as many people came as predicted (500 000). We made a lot of noise! We had a rattle and two whistles, clapped and chanted along. Taking it personally
I have often wondered whether the agony of menstruating is biological punishment for not being pregnant as often as possible. However, this morning I came to the conclusion that if that were the case, toddlers would not wake up at 5 am and pinch, kick, climb, nurse, fuss and walk all over their mothers as that is a stronger disincentive.
