Well, my stormskin rug is feeling slightly better today. She insisted on going outside with the other dogs today so I figured it would do her some good. With her wounds still wide open and seeping she is definitely in danger yet but it's nice to see she's at least eating, drinking, and mobile again ( Read more... ) -

The day is finally here. Tonight I leave for my official vacation which includes The best part: Seeing my friends who are near and dear to me and of course this includes my better half. In the fray
Today my better half had to put his companion of many years to sleep after she lost the battle with disease. Having been down the road of loss myself there are no words to convey the absolute sorrow I feel for him at this moment. There are two statments that I've heard made that apply in cases like this.
