Title: Skittles
Author: saturn_necklace/stormy_words
Pairing: Ohmiya, although it could definitely just be read as friendship
Rating: G
Disclaimer: I don't own them :Dv
Summary: Ohno has skittles.
AN: I suddenly felt like writing for the first time in a while, so sunrisecandy gave me the prompt "skittles (as in the sweets)" and the pairing Ohmiya. How the heck I got this, I have no idea. XD Comments and constructive criticism are, of course, appreciated. More importantly, enjoy!

Nino strolled in to the room and sat down on the sofa, glancing across at Ohno and watching in amusement as the other lined up skittles on the table. He wasn't quite sure why the other was doing it, but he had no real reason to interrupt. He smirked a little as Ohno paused to study one of the small, colourful sweets for a moment, then eat it before turning back to the task on hand.

The next skittle to be extracted from the packet was added to the row of reds. Ohno frowned slightly before turning the skittle over and turning it a little. Nino smirked again. Apparently Ohno was lining up the tiny ‘S’s as well.

He noted that there were far more greens left than any other colour; it seemed that lime was Ohno’s least favourite flavour. Either that, or it had been an especially green-filled packet. Nino tilted his head to see the rest of the neat rows. The purple row seemed to be distinctly lacking in numbers. Ohno slipped another skittle into his mouth, orange this time.

Nino stood up and moved to hover behind Ohno, his hand sneaking past the other to pull a skittle from the packet. Yellow.
“Snacking on the job?” He asked, slipping the sweet into his mouth.
Ohno looked up and nodded as he extracted another skittle from the pack. Purple. Nino watched in amusement as Ohno seemed to have some sort of inner debate over whether to eat it or add it to the purple row.

“Add it to the row.” He said, reaching around to take a green from the table. “The purple row’s too short.”

Ohno looked as though he was about to complain as the sweet was taken from his carefully put together lines, but Nino cut him off. “The purple row is too short, the green row is too long. You make the purple row longer; I’ll make the green one shorter.”

Ohno put the purple down carefully, lining up the tiny ‘s’ as he had done for all the others, a concentrated look on his face.

After a few more minutes the packet was empty, the skittles that it had contained all either sorted into painstakingly neat rows, or eaten. Ohno looked down at his bag before reaching down and pulling out another packet, looking at Nino questioningly. Nino laughed.
“Sure, we can line those up too.”
