Like most holiday's the Shrine was bustling with a crowd.  The excitement in the air choked Arashi as she worked one of the shrine shops.  Today felt like the last day of her life and in a way it was.  Tomorrow she would start anew at a different school not only that but she would be a year older.  From what she heard it wasn't one of the bests but ( Read more... )

Mura was with her family walking to the shrine. The occults obsessed girl looked bored as her adptoive father, mother, and brother walked together. Mura was looking for something akin to a booklet that stated the history of the shrine.

“Honey have you been here before” Mura’s mother looked over at her daughter.

“No, I don’t feel anything either too many people” It was true large groups of people made Mura more irritable then usual. “Come on Mamoru lets go look at that stall over there” She held her brothers hand and walked towards Arashi’s stall.

Arashi handed the girl her bag before taken the money handed to her, she quickly counted it making sure it was right before sticking it in the tin. She was disappointed as more people shifted to her as she checked them out faster then the volunteers. "Take over." she ordered as she stepped away and to fill in a few items from under the tables.

She was tired of working and this was her half ass attempt at getting a break. Tai was luckly he never had to work the stalls while Arashi was stuck here answering dumb questions, her all time favorite 'where are the bathrooms' no one ever asked anything interesting so she found it a waste of time to even try helping their visitors.

Mura looked at the stalls items. "what do you think Mamo-chan?" She looked down at her younger brother who shruged his shoulders.

"Do you want something or not? wait they should have Fortunes here, hmmm” She scanned the area trying to see over the sea of heads.

“Don’t you work at a shop like that?”

“Yes but I never get mine read, now comeon” Backing away from the stall not planning to buy anything the siblings went looking for a place to get their fortunes.

Okuni Arashi stood at the fortune table disappointed her daughter wasn't there. She thought when she told Saki to go to the stall to work she would know she meant this one. Her daughter hated reading fortunes so avoided it like the plague still she was one of the few at the shrine that did a good job doing it ( ... )
