I think that no matter what anyone else thinks, today is an historic day. I think it shows the people who said that "a black man cannot be President of America" that they were wrong. He is a good man and thats what America needs right now. That is why there is so much hope and euphoria across america at the moment. Good man who has good intentions wants to change the world for the better. Whether he achieves everything, or nothing, or somewhere in between, it will never take away from the success that today brings. For anyone who says alturism is dead, I would like to introduce them to Barack Obama.

I am hopeful for the guy, I felt really elated yesterday, watching it all was so moving. Especially when they interviewed a woman who'd come up from Mississippi and was a kid during segregation; really brought home how detractors aside, this IS a big deal and it's great!
