New school year's resolutions

If your 9yrs old boy, after 2 days of school,tells you during the breakfast that his schoolmates take joke of him and nobody apparently talks to him, what do you do?
You reassure him with wise words calling him to have patience and self control.
Then,when he's gone,you cry for 10 minutes on the kitchen table.

ugh. thats just awful. i'm so sorry that school is rotten for him... :( its hard to encourage in the face of that daily...

today it seems a bit better but anyway I would not ever thought primary school was supposed t be this hard now )-:

Yes for sure I will talk to them but I want to wait a bit before as the school is only beginned from 3 days and maybe they all need a little time to "oraganize the space",if it makes sense...It seems he feels better anyway,I've invited one of his schoolmates today after lunch for a couple of hours....
