I started a new project a couple weeks ago & it's evolved into historical fiction. This means research. Lots of it. I'm not sure I like this so much. Don't you love that about history? At least you're being smart about it, though, and doing the research first--not trying to fit a story to history after you've finished the manuscript. Although that can be magical, too.
