Always & Forever - Chapter 2

The taxi dropped me off at the curb of the jazz club and I took a quick peek at my cell phone.  Thankfully, I was right on-time for my ‘date.’  I paid the driver and stepped out into the cold damp air.  It was going to rain later.   I could feel it in my bones.

Ever since I broke my leg in high school, I could tell when the weather would change.
