I would suggest trying to "bait" your dreams by reading Alice just before bedtime, and then when you're done, tell yourself that you will BE Alice in your dream. Sometimes that works for me, but you'll be more successful if you try it every night for a week. Let it be the last thing you think about when you go to sleep...just clear your mind and then fill it with Alice imagery, and keep a journal by your bedside for when you first wake up!
