My favorite children's book
My favorite children's story was Mr.Rabbit and the Lovely Present. The story was very nice but the pictures in it transported me. I think we see things differently as children than we do as adults. I experienced a rich sea of information, emotions, almost an immersion in another world when I looked at the pictures in this book. They were palpable ( Read more... ) -

Soft and fuzzy, such a lovely time
I scanned these pieces from my 'Owl and the Pussy cat' book. I only chose the best out of the book. They are such beautiful pictures and they make me happy! The illustrator is Anne Mortimer:

Serendipity Books
OK, this is my last post for the day, I promise! This is my entire childhood Serendipity books collection written by Stephen Cosgrove, illustrated by Robin James. Many of these were written in the 70s and published throughout the 80s.
