Prompt #2: Torchwood (Owen/Tosh)

In the darkest hours of the night, when she was feeling particularly lonely (like whenever he had spent the day bragging about some new bird he’d just shagged the previous night), she replayed the kiss over and over in her mind. It had been their first - and sadly their last - kiss, and she remembered every detail. She remembered colour of his jumper (blue); the song that had been playing (Salt ‘n’ Peppa’s “Push It”); the taste of his mouth on hers (the mossy taste of Guinness). It had been the best party she’d ever been to, in spite of the fact that the kiss had meant more to her than him.

She was an (extremely) intelligent woman. She knew there was no hope of changing him; that she had fallen in love with a very damaged man. But it was the memory of that kiss that carried her through. That and the hope that one day Owen Harper would realise just how much Toshiko Saito loved him, and maybe even kiss her again.
