That was cute! So like our guys to make the best out of a bad situation and actually regret help showing up. ;-)

Nothing like two tall, middle-aged men climbing over a seat so they can make out! Glad you liked it.

That was a fun read and sounds like it could be straight out of one of the books. Donald is nothing if not creative. The final line just puts the kicker on it because Timothy knows Donald so well and it works for them.

Thank you. I know we both love writing bookverse; it just seems easier for some reason. We get to be more sarcastic than usual, so maybe that's why. :)

I like the idea of them clambering over the seat to get in the back. In the old days it would have been easy, what with huge back seats but these days, not so much.

You captured so well what it is like to try to climb over the seats. That is one of the few times where it is an advantage to be short.

Any chance to be sarcastic is a good thing.

It´s so them to get stuck on Timmy´s birthday. Their backside climbing and the comparision with the giant spider made me lough. Good for them that Don is a wise man and bought two bottles of Champagne. Thank you for writing.

As always, your bookverse is dead on - and the climb into the back seat was priceless!

I can't believe I never responded to your comment. Bad, bad me.

I'm imagining Leslie Howard, brought through a portal to modern times, climbing into the backseat of some crappy little car. The picture really is priceless.
