Just wanted to let my LJ-community know that I'm taking a short hiatus from blogging altogether, to consider how and where (and whether) it fits into my life right now.  If I continue, it will be elsewhere (given that LJ has not revoked their tagging-by-others policy, as far as I know), but if at all possible I will try to stay connected to my LJ

FWIW, I am dglenn on GreatestJournal, InsaneJournal, CommieJournal, Blurty, and Scribbld so far. Scribbld (.net, not .com, BTW) and CommieJournal have the ... 'cleanest', shiny-newest feel, but InsaneJournal, which is fine in its own right, is where I've seen the most LiveJournal folks show up so far (that I've found). GreatestJournal is apparently in its death throes, alas; and Blurty has a ghost-town feel, like somebody's long-abandoned project that just hasn't crashed yet, but every so often something changes, so there must be some admin active over there despite the abandoned vibe.

These are all running versions of the LJ software (Blurty appears to have been modified, the others differ mainly in which date they copied the code AFAICT), so these observations are only helpful if you want to stick with an LJ-style site and just escape SUP.
