I worked out today! Yay! I am so thankful that I am able to do that again, though of course I must be careful not to overdo it. I don't want to regress from my healing progress. This is so true and it is one of those things which is so easily forgotten as me get caught up in our day to day lives. It often takes a disaster on the news or a magazine article etc to remind us just how easy our lives are compared to others. I think this is why when people get bogged down in minor issues I try and give them some perspective...because things could pretty much always be a lot worse. And as you say we have a lot to be thankful for.
I want to do things that make other people happy, even if it will bring me out of my comfort zone.
This would make such a wonderful new years resolution!! :)

Seriously! It's a crying shame. Things can always be much worse that is why I try to make it a point to be grateful for the little as much as the big.
It would wouldn't it? I'll do my best to fulfill it, though knowing me it is the easiest thing for me to do. I love volunteer work and doing things for the less fortunate through my church...
