I pity those vampires who adhere to the mythic conception that our kind cannot cross running water. This would make events such as these such a pain...
Minor thoughts aside, It is rather annoying to have my little room flood with tepid water. Though I imagine it for the best I have nothing in my possession that could be ruined by such natural

Why would vampires be unable to cross running water?

Others include being unable to see ones reflection in a mirror and that we fear crosses and other holy objects. I do not know about others here, but I am simply not weakened by such things.

[She frowns. Probably to reassure people, if they thought vampires dangerous. But, surely those statements would prove false quickly if a vampire did not react as expected.]
Are you affected by sunlight, the way some are? And, must you also drink blood to live?

Why is that? Every vampire I have encountered here has seemed most kind. [Granted, right now, that's you, Spike, and Horst, although she hasn't learned that about him yet.]

Vampires are a subset of humanity, most of the same rules apply to us. There are just as many evil, corrupt, vampires as their are humans.
In the case of blood, either is fine. But human blood is preferred.

Why is human blood preferred? How much must you drink for a meal? You do not have to - to kill a human in order to survive yourself, do you, as humans kill animals?

That is good to know, Lady. It is not my wish to die in this place. Nor to see anyone else do so. But, if you must have blood to live, I assume there are arrangements made for such things?

[She smiles at the thought of everyone being so kind, then realizes she's completely forgotten her manners.]
Forgive me, Lady. In my curiosity, I have been remiss.
[She curtsies.]
I am Juliet Capulet. It is a pleasure to meet you.

[Juliet would beg to differ, and she is certain Queen Katherine would as well, but it is not her place to contradict royalty.]
