Last night I saw Elie Wiesel, author of Night, speak. And it changed my life.
This is a man who survived Auschwitz, is a Nobel laureate, has served under five presidents, has fought for almost 50 years for social justice and an end to genocide. He spoke so honestly about the Holocaust, global apathy, Darfur, Iraq, Israel, life, and hope. He didn't ( Read more... )

I have also had the privilege of hearing Elie Wiesel speak (in D.C. last April at a rally to end the genocide in Darfur) and he truly is inspiring. He's not only an incredible speaker but he's a survivor, and he has all the right in the world to tell us that we're not doing enough to help. Glad you got to hear him!
