I believe that what separates humanity from everything else in the world- binder paper, deep-sea creatures, Mount McKinley- is that humanity alone has the capacity at any given moment to commit all possible sins.

So Closer came on iTunes

and Jessie was like "i don't like this song"
and i'm like "Nine Inch Nails?"
and she's liek "yeah. and that Peaches song you listen to. If mom and dad heard them, they'd freak out. You'd be in so much trouble"

And I'm pretty sure I laughed.

Because I'm pretty sure they've heard me listening to them.
