I did! But, luckily for me they needed a mechanic and that is what I am good at!

Um... each ship and captain are different, but have you made friends with any of the crew? Sometimes, on past ships, if a crew member found me first I would be able to convince them to talk to the captain for me! If you can market any sort of skill or something to the Captain that helps! Captains like prodcutive people, that is the one thing I am sure of! I always tell them I am a mechanic, because I am, but it keeps me on the ship!
