I wanted so badly to get Phil a Wii for Christmas. I knew it was going to be a challenge... And I knew it wasn't going to be easy. In fact, I was just going to buy him the games and components now and include a gift certificate that said he would get the console when I could find one (like the first of the year)... Sadly, there are probably people who were standing out there since the night before. :/

Don't worry too much about it. I know you wanted to get one for him, and you will, but it may just have to be a gift for another occassion, or simply because you love him. I'm pretty sure that he's more grateful that he has a fiancee who is willing to try to go to such lengths for him and who loves him enough to do this kind of thing.

Yeah, people had been there since 4am. So I guess in that regard its okay that I/we missed out. But it still makes me sad.

And you're right. I will still get it. It will just be a "because I love you" present... And he hates those. :-D
