Life is so overwhelming right now. I had never even held a baby until I had my own and now I'm trying to play mommy and daddy and I have no idea what I'm doing. I am so physically exausted and I still haven't given my body a chance to fully recover from my c-section. I still have to take painkillers most nights because by the end of the night I ( Read more... )

aww babe :( Im sorry its so hard for you right now but it will get better, I promise! My sister thought connor would never sleep through the night, but eventually he did, and aiden will too. Its just a matter of time. For now keep yourself rested girl! Cat naps are your best friend and remember you have to take care of yourself too.

How old was he when he started sleeping through the night? I'm trying to rest as much as possible it just seems like there's so much to do. He doesn't seem to sleep much through the day. As soon as I lie down he seems to be up again. Any little noise he makes and I'm wide awake.

Hey IM me when you get the chance I found a great "letter to military spouses." (stpdcupid7) Our first deployment I was living back home so it was quite different. Now I'm taking care of the house and playing mommy and daddy it's tough. I didn't think it was be easy, but I don't think you can ever be fully prepared for it. You really do forget what it's like from one deployment to another. Trust me I could fill our bathtub a few times over with as much as I've cried. I feel like an absolute disaster, I've never felt so lost or alone before.

Hi! I saw you post on the MAC community. I saw that your name is Alexandria and I thought that was cool because that's my daughter's middle name. Then I saw that you had a baby right around the same time I did (she was born 3/15/07, also by c-section).

Anyway, that's all, just wanted to say hello. :)
