Capcom dropped a huge bomb today. After years of teases and making fighting game fans bang their heads against their keyboards, they've finally announced that they're working on Street Fighter IV. To this, all I can say is that it's about fucking time. This is made all the more awesome since this announcement is coming on the heels of the news ( Read more... )

Heh yeah. I think a lot of fans are really happy about this news. Maybe not quite to the same degree that oh say South Korea experienced when StarCraft 2 was announced, but it's still nice.

Dammit, no announcement for the Wii!? That's ass. I can imagine so many ways for the grapple hook to be awesome w/ the Wii's controls.

I know. It totally sucks, but it sounds like the game has been in development for a couple of years, so it probably came about before Capcom really thought that the Wii would be a success.
