A proposal & other.

I recieved an email yester-night from my cousin- well, one of my closer cousins in Taiwan (she was on a business-trip/aka holiday a few days back) that she had been proposed to! This is quite...well, meaningful looks all around because her boyfriend is extremely...*too* sweet. It scares you. He has a really good camera though, with tonnes of lenses ( Read more... )

I probably would have ended up eating the diamonds. *teeth shatter*

Really? I played around with this Piazolla piece that I so stole from Gumbutt and it has markings all over it. Where to flutter tongue, where to bell tongue, etc. *kicks* Though I think a lot of the markings are more with the editor? *doesn't really know*

Oooh. Vonnegut died recently. But have you read Cat's Cradle? I think that's my fav my him. Vonnegut reminds me of Kafka for some reason.

Hope I catch you on MSN sometime. :) I think if I don't talk at people I'm going to spaz.

I know! English teacher was talking to me about his death just...day before yesterday? (We were one of the few schools who didn't have a holiday on ANZAC day, whereas they could have just had the boarders walking around doing nothing on that day, but *no* I had to miss Bio because of Violin *again* and it's like, Omtehgosh, ANZACS, what happened to all the soldiers who died 'for their country'? Jeepas ( ... )

ANZAC? *wikipedias*

*blinks* Your parents disapprove of Teh Vonnegut? *scowls at them*

:P Yeah. I don't like English teachers. There's... it seems like there's no such thing as a good English teacher, really. They all seem to have such narrow ideas about interpreting stories and such. *kicks* So I've been testing out of all the required English courses at my high school... I plan on picking up proper classes again once I get into uni, though. *pets Reed*

Yes, "at". Where you corner them and just sorta ramble, knowing that they really don't care but you don't care that they don't care etc. :P And it's a prepositional use I've had for a long whiles.

Aw... you should be happy for your cousin - it's rare that something like that happens, or at least as far as I know. But don't worry, I thought the same thing about those diamonds, and if that was done to me, I would blurt that out and ruin the whole thing. XD

Ah, but that's good because I'm over here in NZ and they only tell me when whatever surprise is *done*. -pouts-
