My mother is dying.
It might be any week now, or if we're lucky, a year or two. But it seems to be inevitable. A few years ago, she had one kidney removed because it was cancerous. Well, the cancer came back in the same area and she's been on medication. It seemed to be under control.

You entry reminds me of my when my Dad got really sick a few years back; and was racking up the frequent flyer miles on the local ambulances. It got to the point where me and my siblings were forced to deal with the possibility that Dad might not get better; and the conversations got pretty serious, and pretty scary. It was a terrible thing to have to deal with. You have my sympathy,and please let me know if you need anything from me.
I hope your mom's condition improves.

You go "balls out" to support your mom and family as much as you can.
We'll be there to pick up the pieces, when all is said and done.
Don't reserve even an ounce of self-concern.
