We seem to be nearing the end of my mother's illness.  There's a strong chance she won't survive the night.  Then again, she might.  But the nurses at the care center have seen this many times before and they say her difficulty in breathing is probably due to the cancer spreading to her lungs

And when we had lunch at Taco Bell the other day...you didn't say anything?
It wasn't all about Jay, ya know.

Anyway, I am here.
You've got your family and that's a great support... so I trust that you will reach out to us if and as you will. Just don't ever feel alone in this.

When we had lunch, Ma was actually doing okay, not great but had had a few good days in a row. It kind of happened really fast.
