1. Great review. 2. I don't really know if it was great because I haven't seen the film. 3. That said, I WANT TO FUCKING SEE IT. 4. was amused by her (peeing by the car LOL) LOLLOL oh Gilly. 5. If it doesn't make it to Australia, thank god for downloading.
I really don't want to see it in a cinema with an audience. I have a feeling it will have a large impact on me and sometimes i need to be able to hit 'pause' on all that anger.
thanks for the review. i am pretty sure it won't make it past the censors here in australia at all.. and i can't imagine seeing it at the local cinema next to 'harry potter' LOL
I know this is an old post, but I just saw this myself and I'm feeling the need to communicate with others who have seen it.
She’s so blatantly sore and in pain that it made me cringe more so than the actual rape scenes - it somehow made it all the more real.
Oh, word. I actually had to look away a few times during this part, because it was so brutally honest and so...invasive. I felt like I was seeing something I had no right to see. The blood trickling down her leg was just...I don't have any words for it, really. The best I can do is "real." It was necessary and it was painful, and it was something I've never before seen done so well.
