I must agree with you, it is annoying. At least you have a job. I'm faking it as a graduate student, and continue accumulating debt. But everything can't be that bad. You live, right? You get to do the things that you enjoy? Hang out with friends, watch movies, going out... I think this is what matters most. Not having some swanky house, which you have to pay property taxes on and keep up and mow the lawn of. Nor having a car which you have to pay MORE money on. What's great about life is the living part, not the possessions/ money part. If you can have fun and enjoy life with what money you have, then you're well off.
At least, that's what I tell myself. Course, I'm stuck in my tiny apartment and don't have enough money to even go out! ;)
