The bird said "Hurley?" A four toed statue? Did Desmond, Locke and Eko survive? They're the good guys?

I guess it did live up to the promo promise of explaining why the plane crashed though.
Say what you will about how the show drags on mid-season without much in the way of plot advancement, but they are not afraid to tip the chess board over at the end of the season (and yeah, I thought that was a nice touch -- same with the boat being from Newport Beach, right after Desmond got done talking to Caleb from the OC).
