Just got the call, they counter-offered and I accepted. Signing the lease this week, moving in April 22nd (although the actual move will probably be 4/26).

So today I can pay the rent for April and give my notice and yay, I won't be paying for rent at two places at the same time.

Oh the Glenlivet is wonderful. I enjoyed it on the rocks, I enjoyed it with a little bottled water (which apparently expands the nose) and now am enjoying it neat.
