In truth, I don't agree. I don't like President Bush, I don't like the way he's running things, but he's still Mr. President or whatever, not just "Mr. Bush." He's still the President no matter what slant you wish to take on it.
Like I said, the basis for the war is something I don't totally agree with, but we have men and women risking their life and limb and I don't believe you can support them and not support their cause. But then again, that is just me.
Sorry to hear about your mom :\ My friend's mother thinks she worships chickens...
As if the opinion of the Pope and some celebrity singer (who I don't care for anyway) should matter to me? If anything, it just destroys his credibility. And in the past, I've agreed with 95% of what he's had to say about things. But in the past couple of years he's said more and more things that don't make much sense and it makes me wonder about the rest of the stuff he's said in the past. But still, I am not a reactionary type, I know how to distill the godd from the bad,.. it's something that needs to be done with ANYONE with a huge audience and a political agenda. You can't believe everything any specific person says, and you can't disbelieve everything any specific person says, because that's when we stop thinking for ourselves and become easily-manipulated sheep.

See, my mom didn't watch it because she didn't want to hear all the political statements, but I have a feeling she'd love that! ^_^
