I was reminded of you recently at Psycho Suzi's Tiki Bar in Minneapolis. There was a woman there with her BF who had just turned 31 the night before. I swear she could pass for your sister or cousin.
The book I'm currently reading fits right in your genre: Vampire Cabbie by Fred Schepartz (Literary Road, 2007). It's true to the genre, but a little tongue in cheek and rife with typos. Highly recommended, but not in the league of whoever you interviewed.

As far as your having "nothing to say," I'm sure that you've had plenty to say in your other outlets and that trying to find "just one more thing to type about" just wasn't in the cards at the time. (And, given that you've been busy elsewhere, I'm going to take it that things have been going well for you.)
