haha naw, im dog sitting for Sarah, the gal Liz, Dan and i became friends with, who lives at the condos liz and dan worked at. so i stay at her place instead of bike back n forth across town to walk the pup. spiking a tree, im not exactly sure but it's a thing environmental rights activists/"eco terrorists" do to ruin logging equipment that occasionally injures a logger. i think they take a rail road stake and drive it into a tree when it's young, and the tree grows over it? not totally certain, but it's too extreme for me with the risk of injuring people...
